There were 188 new listings (181 Residential and 7 condominiums) in Island County (Whidbey Island and Camano Island) during September for a total of 1,204 active listings. That is 1.31% down from September 2008 but our inventory is still high.

There were 81 closed sales (all residential)  in September ’09, compared to 91 in September ’08. The Median price was down slightly : $280,000 for 2009 and $285,000 for 2008 or a1.75% decrease.
